Proposed Amendments to Fifth Circuit Rules

Amendments to Fifth Circuit Rules, 26,28, 29, 31 and 32 have been proposed.  The court also announced it is considering changes to new word count limitations in the December 1, 2016 amendments to FRAP Rules 5, 21, 27, 28.1, 32, 35 and 40.

Comments to the proposed changes to the Fifth Circuit Rules above must be submitted by Nov. 15. Information to send the comments by mail or electronically are in the notice which can be found following this URL:
