Amendment to Marine Mammal Protection Act of 1972 Proposed

Congressman Johnson of Louisiana (R-LA) (along with other Congressmen from Georgia, Louisiana and South Carolina) introduced House Resolution 3133 to amend the Marine Mammal Protection Act of 1972. The purported purpose of the legislation is to reduce permitting delays to increase economic development and support coastal restoration programs.
