Coast Guard Issues Change 1 to Marine Environmental Response Manual

On September 26, 2018, the Coast Guard issued Change 1 to its Marine Environmental Response Manual. The changes include:  (1) Area Contingency Plan (ACP) policy verification tiers of Geographic Response Strategies (GRS) review and verification requirements; (2) Facility Response Plan (FRP) approvals; and (3) Alternative Planning Criteria (APC) responsibilities.
