Loyola Law Student Selected to Speak at National Student Convention

The Loyola Maritime Law Journal would like to congratulate our Content Editor, Spring Gaines, on her selection as a student presenter at this year’s Animal Legal Defense Fund National Student Convention. She will give a presentation on her work titled Taking a Peck Out of Protection: Change in Interpretation of the Migratory Bird Treaty Act Spells Trouble for Birds Affected by Industry. Spring is currently enrolled in her third year at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. In addition to her Journal duties, Spring serves as the President of the Loyola Chapter of the Animal Legal Defense Fund and Vice President of the Environmental Law Society. She recently completed an internship at the Center for Biological Diversity. We are proud of Spring for this achievement.
