Marine Safety Center Issues Technical Note for OSV’s Carrying Offshore Workers

The Marine Safety Center issued a technical note on May 14, 2019 regarding offshore service vessels under 6000 GT ITC which carry more than 36 offshore workers. OSV’s in this category which “meet the requirements of 46 CFR Part 127 Subpart F … provide an equivalent level of safety and will be approved for the carriage of more than 36 offshore workers.”
